Gleb Pavlenko started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Лужники rudzov defense, Xie Cheng Xiao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuriy Lunin. The Лужники rudzov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuriy Lunin should have stopped the shot. Anton Parov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gleb Pavlenko in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Xie Cheng Xiao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuriy Lunin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xie Cheng Xiao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Yuriy Lunin made a huge save. Yuriy Lunin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Cheng Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Xie Cheng Xiao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Лужники rudzov's Yuriy Lunin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Xie Cheng Xiao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of FC GAZprom booed when Лужники rudzov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Ahlroht didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Xie Cheng Xiao in the 19th minute really tested Yuriy Lunin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Лужники rudzov's goalkeeper Yuriy Lunin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 played minutes FC GAZprom got a freekick which was hit by Noah Gessen. FC GAZprom's Anton Parov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Saygın Özhan in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xie Cheng Xiao in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuriy Lunin saved Лужники rudzov from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as FC GAZprom's Sofoklis Siamantouras slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yuriy Lunin. That made the score 2-1 after 29 minutes of play. After 33 minutes FC GAZprom's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evlampiy Bestuzhev who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Evlampiy Bestuzhev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anton Parov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anton Parov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gleb Pavlenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Parov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gleb Pavlenko's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Noah Gessen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Yuriy Lunin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

FC GAZprom's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Evlampiy Bestuzhev scored to the left of an out of position Anton Parov, making the score, 2-2. After some careless play in the Лужники rudzov defense, Diego Salvagnin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuriy Lunin. The Лужники rudzov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuriy Lunin should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evlampiy Bestuzhev got free with Anton Parov in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Лужники rudzov's Yuriy Lunin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Cheng Xiao in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Xie Cheng Xiao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GAZprom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xie Cheng Xiao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Parov made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Evlampiy Bestuzhev sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Evlampiy Bestuzhev put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Anton Parov. 71 minutes into the game, Xie Cheng Xiao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Yuriy Lunin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Noah Gessen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuriy Lunin having to interfere. Anton Parov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gleb Pavlenko in the 77th minute of the match. Yuriy Lunin came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC GAZprom's Noah Gessen. But to his dismay, Noah Gessen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. With a little luck, FC GAZprom's Anton Parov got control of the ball when Gleb Pavlenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC GAZprom:s Anton Parov showed great skill when he stopped Evlampiy Bestuzhev:s penalty. After 91 minutes FC GAZprom's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evlampiy Bestuzhev who took care of the corner kick. Miron Kalashnikov hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC GAZprom fans cheered their team off the field, for while Лужники rudzov had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
