Valer Boteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Anton Parov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite this Grigoriy Avrutov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Grigoriy Avrutov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikhail Bezyazykov in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valer Boteanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Sosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anton Parov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 55 minutes into the match, FC GAZprom's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Boteanu came free, but Anton Parov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Parov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Boteanu in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xie Cheng Xiao in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigoriy Avrutov saved GONDWONALAND from getting behind. Grigoriy Avrutov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Cheng Xiao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Diego Salvagnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, FC GAZprom's Xie Cheng Xiao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grigoriy Avrutov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 74 minutes, Valer Boteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GONDWONALAND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valer Boteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xie Cheng Xiao in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigoriy Avrutov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Salvagnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoriy Avrutov having to interfere. GONDWONALAND's Grigoriy Avrutov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Cheng Xiao in the 80th minute of play. Léo Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grigoriy Avrutov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xie Cheng Xiao in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Pereira in the 89th minute of play forced FC GAZprom's goalkeeper Anton Parov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes, FC GAZprom's Miron Kalashnikov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grigoriy Avrutov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC GAZprom reached it. GONDWONALAND were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC GAZprom to leave the ground with a draw.
