Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silviu Ţintă kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, -THT- Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Ţintă came free, but Uljas Siivonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bucureni FCM's Olimpiu Cârnațiu got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind -THT- Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Uljas Siivonen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radu Crăcană made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Emil Vâlcu sent off a good shot on target. If Olimpiu Cârnațiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Emil Vâlcu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Radu Crăcană to make any attempt to save it. Uljas Siivonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Ţintă in the 22nd minute of play. Marin Hidiș kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bucureni FCM's zone, Dacian Hănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Crăcană came out of the goal and Dacian Hănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bucureni FCM's Sever Antim got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Bucureni FCM's Radu Crăcană got control of the ball when Emil Vâlcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 played minutes Bucureni FCM got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Popan. Radu Crăcană made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Emil Vâlcu sent off a good shot on target. Uljas Siivonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Cârnațiu in the 39th minute of the match. Olimpiu Cârnațiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olimpiu Cârnațiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Uljas Siivonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uljas Siivonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviu Ţintă, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Emil Vâlcu came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the -THT- Blue Mountain State fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Vâlcu couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Bucureni FCM's goalkeeper Radu Crăcană had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Vâlcu. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dacian Hănescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ştefan Popan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Vâlcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Radu Crăcană tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 74 in the game by Olimpiu Cârnațiu from a close distance when the talented Uljas Siivonen managed to make a qualified save. -THT- Blue Mountain State's players were relieved. In the 76th minute, Dacian Hănescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olimpiu Cârnațiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Uljas Siivonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olimpiu Cârnațiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uljas Siivonen made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Olimpiu Cârnațiu sent off a good shot on target. -THT- Blue Mountain State's Uljas Siivonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Ţintă in the 91st minute of play. -THT- Blue Mountain State's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
