Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicolae Păuceanu got the match started through his kick off. Șerban Bologan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Păuceanu in the 3rd minute of play. Nicolae Păuceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Șerban Bologan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marin Lunca during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Unciuc AC booed when Sporting Onești was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Lunca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unciuc AC's Șerban Bologan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Păuceanu in the 48th minute of play. The Unciuc AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sporting Onești were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugen Chiriacescu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Marin Lunca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Șerban Bologan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Păuceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Sporting Onești's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
