Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marius Cernescu started the match with the kick off. Marius Cernescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Boieraș in the 9th minute of play forced Ogesti FCM's goalkeeper Mihnea Brezeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Olimpiu Boieraș managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Forestra Falticeni's supporters rose to their feet, but Olimpiu Boieraș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihnea Brezeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marian Zaharia's late challenge caught a F.C. Forestra Falticeni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Dan Gheară scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihnea Brezeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Romeo Brașoveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Gheară might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihnea Brezeanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Gheară ran back to his position shaking his head. When F.C. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Dan Gheară cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mihnea Brezeanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olimpiu Boieraș to make the kick off. Narcis Mitruț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mihnea Brezeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ogesti FCM's Mihnea Brezeanu got control of the ball when Olimpiu Boieraș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dan Gheară blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihnea Brezeanu having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ogesti FCM's zone, Olimpiu Boieraș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihnea Brezeanu came out of the goal and Olimpiu Boieraș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Olimpiu Boieraș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Dan Gheară managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Forestra Falticeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Gheară was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
