Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Codruț Luțu kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Suska AFC got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Bogdan. Nicolae Păuceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Comșa having to interfere. Claudiu Bogdan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Nichifor Comșa came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Onești's Marin Lunca. But to his dismay, Marin Lunca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Marin Lunca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sporting Onești's Nicolae Păuceanu in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Suska AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Mircea Şerbănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Comșa having to interfere. Suska AFC's Nichifor Comșa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Păuceanu in the 23rd minute of play. Nichifor Comșa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Lunca, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Suska AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Păuceanu came free, but Nichifor Comșa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Claudiu Bogdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Nicolae Păuceanu made the kick off in the second half. Dinu Morovan kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A well placed Nicolae Păuceanu short distance shot in the 53rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rareș Nicola got free with Nichifor Comșa in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Păuceanu in the 65th minute of play forced Suska AFC's goalkeeper Nichifor Comșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rareș Nicola got free with Nichifor Comșa in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mircea Şerbănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes Suska AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Cezariu. Sporting Onești made a substitution. Dinu Isvoreanu replaced Tiberiu Coroian. Marin Lunca kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Claudiu Bogdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes, Iacob Răchită mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Onești and the Suska AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iacob Răchită hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Adrian Jucu fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suska AFC's protests and gave Adrian Jucu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Suska AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Adrian Jucu hit a great ball. When Sporting Onești's Nicolae Păuceanu in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Suska AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Sporting Onești could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Suska AFC throughout the match.
