Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) C.S. MEDGIDIA's Martin Verzea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, C.S. MEDGIDIA's Nicolae Daria got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Janusz Waldoch came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the C.S. MEDGIDIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janusz Waldoch couldn't finish the play. Martin Verzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Mureșan came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by C.S. MEDGIDIA's Martin Verzea. But to his dismay, Martin Verzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Italienii CSM's Constantin Cioroianu got a free kick in the 21st minute. Eduard Mureșan was a little too slow when Martin Verzea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. C.S. MEDGIDIA's Janusz Waldoch got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When C.S. MEDGIDIA's Martin Verzea in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italienii CSM's goalie prevented a goal. After 37 played minutes Italienii CSM got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Tulbure. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Janusz Waldoch put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eduard Mureșan. Martin Verzea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Eduard Mureșan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Moise Ştercă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iacob Zăraşcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosmin Encuțescu was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Gabriel Tulbure was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italienii CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.S. MEDGIDIA the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Italienii CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Tulbure to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Martin Verzea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduard Mureșan was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 59th play minutes Martin Verzea shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Eduard Mureșan and just under the crossbar into goal. If Daniel Murgoci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, C.S. MEDGIDIA's Janusz Waldoch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduard Mureșan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Italienii CSM's Eduard Mureșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Verzea in the 70th minute of play. Gabriel Tulbure got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Italienii CSM getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gabriel Tulbure hit a great ball. If Cosmin Encuțescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Martin Verzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Mureșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.S. MEDGIDIA's Ziya Hacıağa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save C.S. MEDGIDIA from getting a goal against them. Cosmin Encuțescu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes, C.S. MEDGIDIA's Panait Iordan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduard Mureșan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.S. MEDGIDIA reached it. Italienii CSM's Calistrat Cangeopol came free and shot a quick shot against goal 90 minutes in the game, fortunately Ziya Hacıağa had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After some careless play in the Italienii CSM defense, Martin Verzea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduard Mureșan. The Italienii CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduard Mureșan should have stopped the shot. In the 95thth minute of the game Martin Verzea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italienii CSM's Eduard Mureșan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C.S. MEDGIDIA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
