With an all-out effort, Putreda CSM's Ziya Hacıağa threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferdinand Caragea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee gave Petre Vermeşan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Putreda CSM getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Filip Săvulescu hit a great ball. C.S. MEDGIDIA's Ur Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Verzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute of the match Iacob Zăraşcu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aron Cristocea skillfully saved the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Mihail Ozon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Putreda CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.S. MEDGIDIA the free kick. Mihail Ozon hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match.
