Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicu Postelnicescu started the match with the kick off. When Rareș Ecobescu came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Prandul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Ecobescu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Basarab Macovei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prandul's supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Macovei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costel Tâbârnă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marian Gheban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigore Dragoș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Pască in the 20th minute of play. Nicu Postelnicescu scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigore Dragoș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manole Lucaci kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Costel Tâbârnă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Macovei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Basarab Macovei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costel Tâbârnă made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Basarab Macovei sent off a good shot on target. Aristide Stanca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Costel Tâbârnă made a huge save. Costel Tâbârnă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Macovei in the 34th minute of play. Rareș Ecobescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costel Tâbârnă having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Aristide Stanca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Basarab Macovei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costel Tâbârnă was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Costel Tâbârnă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Macovei in the 43rd minute of play. Costel Tâbârnă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basarab Macovei's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Basarab Macovei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Costel Tâbârnă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basarab Macovei in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costel Tâbârnă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Prandul fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Prandul's Basarab Macovei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Grigore Dragoș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Postelnicescu in the 62nd minute of play. If Marian Gheban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Ecobescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Costel Tâbârnă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Basarab Macovei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Aristide Stanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Tâbârnă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Marian Gheban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prandul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 81 minutes into the match, Ciprian Ilie notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Prandul's Grigore Dragoș. Grigore Dragoș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costel Tâbârnă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basarab Macovei went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 91 minutes, Marian Gheban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prandul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Gheban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prandul's Basarab Macovei got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rareș Ecobescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rareș Ecobescu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Prandul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Ecobescu couldn't finish the play. Prandul walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
