Solomonesti SC's Francisc Holban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Potopea in the 15th minute of play. If Maxim Săvoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisc Holban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Potopea in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Cazimir Pogea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucian Martinaș. Cazimir Pogea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Cazimir Pogea came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucian Martinaș could save by the left post. Pavel Geambașu took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucian Martinaș. Lucian Martinaș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 31 played minutes Solomonesti SC got a freekick which was hit by Paul Boboc. Lucian Martinaș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Săvoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Solomonesti SC's Francisc Holban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Potopea in the 36th minute of play. Pavel Geambașu's late challenge caught a Oantul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavel Geambașu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Solomonesti SC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Pavel Geambașu hit a great ball. Laurențiu Potopea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 played minutes Solomonesti SC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Vulpe. Francisc Holban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Potopea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Oantul booed when Solomonesti SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Boboc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxim Săvoiu struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Lucian Martinaș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solomonesti SC. The long shot by Paul Boboc in the 47th minute really tested Lucian Martinaș's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavius Ficsinescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisc Holban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavius Ficsinescu in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Solomonesti SC's goalkeeper Francisc Holban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurențiu Potopea. Oantul's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurențiu Potopea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisc Holban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucian Martinaș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Pogea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisc Holban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurențiu Potopea in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Solomonesti SC had won after a very even match.
