Francisc Holban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Cuculeanu in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Solomonesti SC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Cuculeanu came free, but Francisc Holban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Eusebiu Cuculeanu made a precise shot to the right of Francisc Holban. Solomonesti SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.

Ionut Surdu took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisc Holban. Francisc Holban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Francisc Holban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionut Surdu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Maxim Săvoiu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Solomonesti SC's protests and gave Maxim Săvoiu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Solomonesti SC's Maxim Săvoiu got a free kick in the 76th minute.
