Spectators: 7369 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Urtica CSM's Sandu Blajovan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Urtica CSM's goalkeeper Iordache Micu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mădălin Furdui. 4 minutes into the match, FC Iclanzelul's Marcel Marioteanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iordache Micu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mădălin Furdui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Iordache Micu made a huge save. Iordache Micu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Marioteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Sandu Blajovan made a precise shot to the right of Costin Dima. FC Iclanzelul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sandu Blajovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Marioteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Micu having to interfere. Urtica CSM's Iordache Micu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Urtica CSM from getting a goal against them. Iordache Micu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Marioteanu in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Sandu Blajovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Dima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Urtica CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Almăgean came free, but Iordache Micu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mădălin Furdui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Iordache Micu made a huge save. Sandu Blajovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costin Dima having to interfere. Urtica CSM's Sandu Blajovan got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Silviu Brezeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costin Dima came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Urtica CSM's Sandu Blajovan. But to his dismay, Sandu Blajovan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Emilian Bălace kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Felix Oprea sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Urtica CSM's Iordache Micu didn't even have to move. Silviu Brezeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Furdui in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iordache Micu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgar Mârzac kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Marcel Marioteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iordache Micu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Furdui in the 57th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Sandu Blajovan rounded FC Iclanzelul's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. A collision led to FC Iclanzelul getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Daniel Onciu hit a great ball. Costin Dima was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sandu Blajovan. Sandu Blajovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes FC Iclanzelul got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Onciu. Urtica CSM's Silviu Brezeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urtica CSM played a much better game than FC Iclanzelul and deserved their victory. The FC Iclanzelul players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
