Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Petre Răduța took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alexandru Buzea shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a little luck, Basangesti's Emanuel Nasta got control of the ball when Petre Răduța tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Petre Răduța made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Nasta. Basangesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Basangesti's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Grămescu came free, but Emanuel Nasta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Basangesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Văduva to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Mugur Apetroaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Daimacă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandru Buzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Nasta having to interfere. Emanuel Nasta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Răduța in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandru Buzea got free with Emanuel Nasta in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 42 played minutes Basangesti got a freekick which was hit by George Oniga. Petre Răduța had several of the Basangesti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Emanuel Nasta as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mugur Apetroaiei to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandru Buzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Nasta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Mălin in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Codruț Grămescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Nasta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basangesti's Emanuel Nasta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Grămescu in the 64th minute of play. Emanuel Nasta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petre Răduța's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Sigau's Codruț Grămescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Nasta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basangesti's Emanuel Nasta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Buzea in the 70th minute of play. Mugur Apetroaiei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petre Răduța sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigau's Petre Răduța got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandru Buzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Emanuel Nasta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sigau booed when Basangesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Oniga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Mălin in the 90th minute of play forced Basangesti's goalkeeper Emanuel Nasta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Nasta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Răduța in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Buzea in the 94th minute of play forced Basangesti's goalkeeper Emanuel Nasta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Petre Răduța notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Basangesti's Emanuel Nasta. Emanuel Nasta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
