Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristian Săliştean got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Red Wings Baia Mare's Gavril Cârstea got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Batrinu AFC's Robert Baștină played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Cârstea in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Dacian Zburliş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Baștină. Batrinu AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dacian Zburliş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Batrinu AFC's Paul Dragușin got a free kick in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Red Wings Baia Mare's Robert Şimandan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Baștină narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Batrinu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paul Dragușin. After 17 minutes of play, Red Wings Baia Mare's Robert Şimandan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Baștină was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Batrinu AFC booed when Red Wings Baia Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Lung didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Red Wings Baia Mare's Robert Şimandan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Baștină made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, Robert Şimandan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Baștină. Robert Baștină made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Şimandan in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Red Wings Baia Mare's Dacian Zburliş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Baștină made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. A collision led to Batrinu AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Romeo Chinezu hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the game, Romeo Chinezu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batrinu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Wings Baia Mare the free kick. Romeo Chinezu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Robert Şimandan notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Batrinu AFC's Robert Baștină. Robert Baștină was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Toacsen to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Şimandan in the 52nd minute of play forced Batrinu AFC's goalkeeper Robert Baștină to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dacian Zburliş got free with Robert Baștină in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Batrinu AFC's goalkeeper Robert Baștină had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Săliştean. If Robert Şimandan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paul Dragușin came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Batrinu AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Dragușin couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurel Lung during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Batrinu AFC booed when Red Wings Baia Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Lung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Baștină showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Cârstea, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, Batrinu AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Leu to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Red Wings Baia Mare's Victor Obreja slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert Baștină. That made the score 0-7 after 67 minutes of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Cristian Săliştean got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robert Baștină was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dacian Zburliş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Robert Baștină made a huge save. Valentin Toacsen charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Toacsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valentin Toacsen kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Dacian Andriescu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Red Wings Baia Mare's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Obreja in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Victor Obreja got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robert Baștină quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dacian Zburliş received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Baștină came out and tried to block the shot, but Dacian Zburliş slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Dacian Zburliş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Robert Baștină was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Cristian Săliştean made a precise shot to the right of Robert Baștină. Batrinu AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Red Wings Baia Mare's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
