When Radu Brășneanu came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the -MZE- Tintava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radu Brășneanu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Virfuri getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Grigore Budianu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Virfuri's zone, Tudor Bolcaș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ion Enescu came out of the goal and Tudor Bolcaș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radu Brășneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Bolcaș in the 22nd minute of play forced Virfuri's goalkeeper Ion Enescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grigore Budianu during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Virfuri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Budianu to maneuver through the defense. Ion Enescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Bolcaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidiu Erbașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Albu having to interfere. Münir Tevfik who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Octavian Albu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Münir Tevfik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ion Enescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Leu in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Rareș Leu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ion Enescu. Virfuri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rareș Leu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 47 minutes into the match, Virfuri's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Bolcaș came free, but Ion Enescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tudor Bolcaș to make the kick off. Adam Vorniceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Bolcaș in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ion Enescu saved Virfuri from getting behind. Ion Enescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Bolcaș in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, Virfuri's Münir Tevfik made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Albu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the game, Rareș Leu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ion Enescu. Rareș Leu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Radu Brășneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ion Enescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Erbașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Albu having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rareș Leu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ion Enescu. That made the score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. Ion Enescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rareș Leu in the 79th minute. A collision led to -MZE- Tintava getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Constantin Bobei hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, -MZE- Tintava's goal looked a bit too open when Münir Tevfik came free, but Octavian Albu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Tudor Bolcaș fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ion Enescu, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to -MZE- Tintava getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tudor Bolcaș hit a great ball.
