Spectators: 7370 (Terracing: 5556, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 110) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Costel Tudoran took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Black Stocking's Tiberiu Coșeriu got control of the ball when Cristian Corduneanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 6 played minutes Virfuri got a freekick which was hit by Doru Buhuș. The audience was convinced that Costel Tudoran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ion Enescu was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Black Stocking's Tiberiu Coșeriu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Black Stocking from getting a goal against them. Ion Enescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Tudoran in the 21st minute of the match. Tiberiu Coșeriu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Münir Tevfik, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Virfuri booed when Black Stocking was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Enoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Corduneanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Tiberiu Coșeriu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th minute of the match, Cristian Corduneanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiberiu Coșeriu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 37th minute, Ovidiu Stoleru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Corduneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Corduneanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Black Stocking's Tiberiu Coșeriu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Münir Tevfik in the 54th minute of play. Cristian Corduneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Münir Tevfik struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Tiberiu Coșeriu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virfuri. Gheorghe Enoiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ion Enescu having to make a save. After 71st play minutes Ciprian Stoicănescu shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ion Enescu and just under the crossbar into goal. Cristian Corduneanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiberiu Coșeriu having to make a save. In the 78thth minute of the game Münir Tevfik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Stocking's Tiberiu Coșeriu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gheorghe Enoiu fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Stocking's protests and gave Gheorghe Enoiu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Gheorghe Enoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Corduneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Black Stocking's zone, Münir Tevfik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiberiu Coșeriu came out of the goal and Münir Tevfik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virfuri were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Black Stocking to leave the ground with a draw.
