Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Florin Porumbescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Manu having to interfere. Francisc Luca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horea Bîlbă's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horea Bîlbă in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisc Luca saved Velea from getting behind. George Pârvan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leontin Manu was a little too slow when Felix Tarchilă got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Horea Bîlbă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horea Bîlbă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florin Porumbescu's late challenge caught a Dinamo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florin Porumbescu helped the player get up and apologised. Florin Porumbescu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Horea Bîlbă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leontin Manu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Tarchilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Valentin Datcu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisc Luca. Velea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Datcu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Francisc Luca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Strungă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horea Bîlbă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisc Luca having to make a save. Francisc Luca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horea Bîlbă went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Francisc Luca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stelian Strungă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 51 minute of play. With a little luck, Velea's Francisc Luca got control of the ball when George Pârvan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Horea Bîlbă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Francisc Luca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Francisc Luca managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Dinamo's Horea Bîlbă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toader Surugiu during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horea Bîlbă in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisc Luca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dinamo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
