Silviu Gruescu came out of the goal and Teodor Vlaicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 5 played minutes Octav Bocșan rounded Spiridoni's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When FC.Dierna's Alin Smarandache in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spiridoni's goalie prevented a goal. After 8 played minutes Spiridoni got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Vanghelie. FC.Dierna's Valentin Cotoi got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alin Smarandache struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Silviu Gruescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC.Dierna. A collision led to Spiridoni getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Toader Mocanu hit a great ball. Silviu Gruescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Vlaicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, FC.Dierna's Åke Sjögren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Silviu Gruescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Bocșan in the 24th minute of the match. FC.Dierna's Ovidiu Rădescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Pora in the 28th minute of play. Silviu Gruescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alin Smarandache's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Silviu Gruescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Vlaicu in the 33rd minute of the match. Silviu Gruescu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Octav Bocșan sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th match minute, FC.Dierna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandro Moldoveanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Alin Smarandache made a precise shot to the right of Silviu Gruescu. Spiridoni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alin Smarandache to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Baran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Aurelian Pora reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ovidiu Rădescu. The goal made the score 3-1. Valentin Cotoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Silviu Gruescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC.Dierna getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Alexandro Moldoveanu hit a great ball. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC.Dierna! The audience was convinced that Alin Smarandache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silviu Gruescu was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Valentin Cotoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. FC.Dierna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
