Azochim Savinesti's Alex Fecioru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Fernandes in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Azochim Savinesti defense, Atak Toydeniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Fecioru. The Azochim Savinesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Fecioru should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Horia Capșuneanu in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Azochim Savinesti's Nicodim Teleagă. Alex Fecioru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Tănăsescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. CFR Cluj1907's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
