Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wilfredo Matro made the kick off and thus started the match. Mugur Alexiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Şuplăcan having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Pacurarestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Pârvulescu to maneuver through the defense. Andrei Craia hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Corneliu Nistorescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pacurarestii's Andrei Craia got a free kick in the 17th minute. Cristinel Şuplăcan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mugur Alexiu in the 29th minute. Eusebiu Iorda's late challenge caught a Pacurarestii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebiu Iorda helped the player get up and apologised. Horia Corbuț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Matro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Arsenal TGV were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mugur Alexiu made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Pacurarestii got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Lipan. A collision led to Arsenal TGV getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Wilfredo Matro hit a great ball. Corneliu Nistorescu struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Horia Corbuț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal TGV. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arsenal TGV! Cristinel Şuplăcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Alexiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octav Purje during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Arsenal TGV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Purje to maneuver through the defense. Manole Pârvulescu took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristinel Şuplăcan. Cristinel Şuplăcan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 80 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Matro notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Pacurarestii's Horia Corbuț. Horia Corbuț was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pacurarestii's Horia Corbuț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Pacurarestii from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Pacurarestii's goalkeeper Horia Corbuț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Costandache. In the 89th minute Manole Pârvulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Şuplăcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristinel Şuplăcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Alexiu in the 91st minute of play. The Arsenal TGV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arsenal TGV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
