In the 10th minute Zanko Gerovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Real Madrid C.F.'s Michel Varela got control of the ball when Zanko Gerovski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute Zanko Gerovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basarab Ulici made a kick off. Real Madrid C.F.'s Michel Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Galușcă in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Neiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Michel Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michel Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Hudiță in the 57th minute of play. Michel Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Ronaldinho Neiva made a precise shot to the right of Michel Varela. Real Madrid C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Hudiță in the 70th minute of play forced Real Madrid C.F.'s goalkeeper Michel Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee showed Basarab Ulici the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 82 minutes into the match, Real Madrid C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Neiva came free, but Michel Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Varela came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by LUCO TKS's Ronaldinho Neiva. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. LUCO TKS's Ronaldinho Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Real Madrid C.F. defense, Eusebiu Galușcă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Varela. The Real Madrid C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Varela should have stopped the shot. LUCO TKS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
