Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manuel Calomfirescu made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Maguricea UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Staicu came free, but Ferdinand Eremia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cornel Moțoc fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BARCELONA's protests and gave Cornel Moțoc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, BARCELONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Moțoc to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Petrică Staicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Eremia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Eremia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Staicu in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maguricea UFC's goalkeeper Ferdinand Eremia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferdinand Eremia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Moțoc, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 played minutes Maguricea UFC got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Marinescu. Petrică Staicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ferdinand Eremia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the BARCELONA defense, Emil Moisil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leontin Pască. The BARCELONA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leontin Pască should have stopped the shot. When Petrică Staicu came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the BARCELONA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petrică Staicu couldn't finish the play. Petrică Staicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Eremia having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudiu Ghișe to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Maguricea UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Moisil to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Maguricea UFC's zone, Petrică Staicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Eremia came out of the goal and Petrică Staicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudiu Ghișe struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ferdinand Eremia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BARCELONA. 57 minutes into the match, Petrică Staicu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Maguricea UFC's Ferdinand Eremia. Ferdinand Eremia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64thth minute of the game Claudiu Ghișe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maguricea UFC's Ferdinand Eremia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leontin Pască took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Marinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 72 in the game by Traian Moromete from a close distance when the talented Ferdinand Eremia managed to make a qualified save. Maguricea UFC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Claudiu Ghișe managed to get in a good position for a shot. BARCELONA's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudiu Ghișe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Eremia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th match minute, Maguricea UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Doman to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Maguricea UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Moromete came free, but Ferdinand Eremia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Emil Moisil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Pască saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Cornel Moțoc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Petrică Staicu came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the BARCELONA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petrică Staicu couldn't finish the play. Ferdinand Eremia came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by BARCELONA's Claudiu Ghișe. But to his dismay, Claudiu Ghișe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Petrică Staicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ferdinand Eremia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Petrică Staicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Maguricea UFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BARCELONA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
