Ferdinand Eremia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Grama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Manuel Calomfirescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Arne Lund was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Maguricea UFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Efervescent.
