In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind MONDIAL BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Grigore Cumpanașu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When FC Zidurii's Nae Bitănescu in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MONDIAL BUCURESTI's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th minute, Liviu Cristache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, MONDIAL BUCURESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Ciocâlteu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gelu Ciocâlteu got free with Mihăiţă Calota in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Luca Mara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Liviu Cristache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Grigore Cumpanașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to MONDIAL BUCURESTI getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Octavian Bărbânță hit a great ball. If Liviu Cristache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vali Mușat hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Grigore Gliga from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Mihăiţă Calota's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Luca Mara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gelu Ciocâlteu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Ciocâlteu succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Gelu Ciocâlteu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Mihăiţă Calota made a huge save. Mihăiţă Calota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Mara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nae Bitănescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandru Zdraşcu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Grigore Cumpanașu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nae Bitănescu in the 57th minute. Luca Mara scored 3-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihăiţă Calota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Luca Mara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Calota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Martin Hosu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gelu Ciocâlteu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihăiţă Calota having to make a save. Valentin Stanciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mihăiţă Calota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Mara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Ciocâlteu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihăiţă Calota having to make a save. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Gelu Ciocâlteu got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Grigore Cumpanașu got control of the ball when Nae Bitănescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nae Bitănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Grigore Cumpanașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Vali Mușat got a free kick in the 90th minute. FC Zidurii's Mihăiţă Calota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Mara in the 92nd minute of play. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
