Romeo Vanghelie scored 3-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mugurel Aluneanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Karl Billström made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Romeo Vanghelie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mugurel Aluneanu. Mugur Aliuta's late challenge caught a ADY TURLEA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in ADY TURLEA's zone, Romeo Vanghelie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugurel Aluneanu came out of the goal and Romeo Vanghelie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Ilie Balaci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petruț Petrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Mugurel Aluneanu made a huge save. Ivan Eniceicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petruț Petrea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Mugurel Aluneanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
