Costică Aristide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Theobald, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Dinamo GSV's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Theobald came free, but Costică Aristide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liviu Chira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Istrătescu in the 14th minute of play forced Melcesti CSS's goalkeeper Bogdan Amandiței to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melcesti CSS's Bogdan Amandiței proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Melcesti CSS from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Amandiței took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cătălin Istrătescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Amandiței showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Paraschiv in the 20th minute of the match. Bogdan Amandiței made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sorin Enescu in the 23rd minute. Liviu Chira might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costică Aristide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liviu Chira ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Emilian Paraschiv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melcesti CSS's Alex Izbașa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dinamo GSV. Costică Aristide came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Melcesti CSS's Moise Elefterescu. But to his dismay, Moise Elefterescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Liviu Chira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moise Elefterescu in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costică Aristide saved Dinamo GSV from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Theobald in the 47th minute of play forced Dinamo GSV's goalkeeper Costică Aristide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cătălin Istrătescu made a kick off. Melcesti CSS's Bogdan Amandiței played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Măcrinici in the 52nd minute of play. Costică Aristide made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Moise Elefterescu sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, Melcesti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Istrătescu came free, but Bogdan Amandiței reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dinamo GSV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Izbașa was slow to take the kick. During this time Melcesti CSS's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alex Izbașa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dinamo GSV's Costică Aristide did a great save. Pedro Theobald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo GSV's zone, Liviu Chira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costică Aristide came out of the goal and Liviu Chira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Dinamo GSV's Virgil Baba got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Moise Elefterescu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Costică Aristide. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moise Elefterescu got free with Costică Aristide in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Moise Elefterescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melcesti CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Moise Elefterescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melcesti CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Moise Elefterescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Aristide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Pedro Theobald got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 88th match minute, Dinamo GSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Enescu to maneuver through the defense. Costică Aristide stood somewhat misplaced when Moise Elefterescu came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 89 minute. Felix Dragalina hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Melcesti CSS played a much better game than Dinamo GSV and deserved their victory. The Dinamo GSV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
