Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iustinian Chelaru got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ceardac's goalkeeper Codruț Marinică, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cueni FC's zone, Cornel Boteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Movileanu came out of the goal and Cornel Boteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Movileanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Malcoci in the 14th minute of the match. Paul Movileanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Buteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 16 minutes, Milton Stenbjerg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cueni FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milton Stenbjerg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Malcoci in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Movileanu saved Cueni FC from getting behind. Gigel Buteanu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Paul Movileanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Buteanu in the 28th minute of the match. Codruț Marinică made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustinian Chelaru in the 29th minute. Codruț Marinică was a little too slow when Iustinian Chelaru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. 37 minutes into the game, Iustinian Chelaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Codruț Marinică was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Ştefoi in the 40th minute of play forced Ceardac's goalkeeper Codruț Marinică to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustinian Chelaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustin Malcoci to make the kick off. Ceardac's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustinian Chelaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A collision led to Ceardac getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gigel Buteanu hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Sebastian Gogea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilian Boroș hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Iustinian Chelaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Codruț Marinică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cueni FC's Ernest Ştefoi got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Cueni FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
