Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Răzvan Mazăre took the kick off in the first half of the match. Răzvan Mazăre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Gorunescu having to interfere. A collision led to Mires getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dumitru Staicu hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Persicani's Felix Caramarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavril Zăvoiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Persicani's zone, Răzvan Mazăre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Gorunescu came out of the goal and Răzvan Mazăre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mires's Ciprian Budac got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Mires's Eusebiu Tănase nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucrețiu Gorunescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gavril Zăvoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Dumitru, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Eusebiu Tănase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lucrețiu Gorunescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Dumitru in the 22nd minute of play forced Mires's goalkeeper Gavril Zăvoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eusebiu Tănase fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mires's protests and gave Eusebiu Tănase a yellow card for diving instead. Eusebiu Tănase kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Lucrețiu Gorunescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Budac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucrețiu Gorunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Vlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Ion Vlas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Răzvan Mazăre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Eugen Buculeasa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gavril Zăvoiu. Eugen Buculeasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Traian Agudaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eusebiu Tănase came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mires fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebiu Tănase couldn't finish the play. Ion Vlas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lucrețiu Gorunescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Persicani's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Răzvan Mazăre scored to the left of an out of position Lucrețiu Gorunescu, making the score, 2-2. 67 minutes into the match, Mires's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Agudaru came free, but Gavril Zăvoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Persicani got a corner. Mires's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Caramarin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Persicani's Felix Caramarin to fire away a dangerous shot which Gavril Zăvoiu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 70 played minutes Mires got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Tănase. 76 minutes into the game, Eugen Buculeasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Gavril Zăvoiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisc Ciocan charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisc Ciocan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Ciprian Budac fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lucrețiu Gorunescu, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ciprian Budac took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Lucrețiu Gorunescu to make any attempt to save it. Lucrețiu Gorunescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Vlas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd match minute, Persicani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Baicea to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Persicani's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicu Chihaia was slow to take the kick. During this time Mires's players had a chance to rest.
