The referee ignored The STORM's protests and gave Narcis Ciolpan a yellow card for diving instead. Narcis Ciolpan hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Primitivo Gora had several of the The STORM's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 5 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Niculae Dudea as he didn't even see the shot coming. 11 minutes into the match, The STORM's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Aguirre came free, but Niculae Dudea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, The STORM's Ionel Decuseară got a free kick in the 12th minute. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Primitivo Gora took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Niculae Dudea to make any attempt to save it. In the 18th minute, Eric Răuțu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Ionel Decuseară shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Hobbs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Dudea was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Alexandru Vasilache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandru Vasilache really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Grant Hobbs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Decuseară, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grant Hobbs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Ghiurutan in the 32nd minute of play. Primitivo Gora might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Dudea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Gora ran back to his position shaking his head. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valeriu Ghiurutan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Gora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Dudea having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Primitivo Gora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The STORM's Niculae Dudea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eric Răuțu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Niculae Dudea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Bărnuțiu took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niculae Dudea. Niculae Dudea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Osvaldo Aguirre might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Dudea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo Aguirre ran back to his position shaking his head. Grant Hobbs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionel Decuseară in the 68th minute. Primitivo Gora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Niculae Dudea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Primitivo Gora made a precise shot to the right of Niculae Dudea. The STORM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Primitivo Gora sped through The STORM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niculae Dudea. In the 84th minute Primitivo Gora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Dudea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes, GLADIATORII's Sever Stan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niculae Dudea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GLADIATORII reached it. In the 92nd minute, Primitivo Gora had to leave the field with a concussion. When Narcis Ciolpan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GLADIATORII had played much better football throughout.
