Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicolae Vernescu started the match with the kick off. Vintilă Ficsinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Vernescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Pietrisu's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Vernescu came free, but Vintilă Ficsinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pietris FCM booed when Pietrisu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Cucu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Remus Frânculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isac Cucu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Remus Frânculescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Vintilă Ficsinescu made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Nicolae Vernescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vintilă Ficsinescu to make any attempt to save it. Pietrisu's Vintilă Ficsinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Vernescu in the 28th minute of play. If Nicolae Vernescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Hâjdău came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Pietrisu's Isac Cucu. But to his dismay, Isac Cucu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

Pietris FCM's Remus Frânculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolae Vernescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vintilă Ficsinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Tapalagă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pietrisu's Vintilă Ficsinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Frânculescu in the 69th minute of play. When Isac Cucu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Isac Cucu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Remus Frânculescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pietrisu's Vintilă Ficsinescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pietris FCM's Remus Frânculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolae Vernescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes Pietrisu got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Tapalagă. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Frânculescu in the 84th minute of play forced Pietrisu's goalkeeper Vintilă Ficsinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pietrisu's goalkeeper Vintilă Ficsinescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Ionică Iosifian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pietrisu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionică Iosifian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pietris FCM's Lucrețiu Mustață got a free kick in the 91st minute. 96 minutes into the game, Pietris FCM's Nicolae Vernescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vintilă Ficsinescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pietrisu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pietris FCM.
