Cristinel Ciordaș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concordia. The Concordia fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Concordia's Emanuel Boroș looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Concordia's Gigel Loghin got control of the ball when Dacian Perșa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valer Stolnicu got free with Gigel Loghin in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gigel Loghin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when F.C Tineretu's Dacian Perșa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valer Stolnicu was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radu Cernescu during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Concordia's Emanuel Boroș slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristinel Ciordaș. That made the score 1-3 after 68 minutes of play. If Ivan Sterescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Angheluță was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, F.C Tineretu's Pavel Angheluță got a free kick in the 76th minute. Valentin Lăzărescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cristinel Ciordaș made a huge save. Victor Săvulescu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to Concordia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Aurelian Nae hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the game, Dacian Perșa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Gigel Loghin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, F.C Tineretu's Dacian Perșa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigel Loghin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Felix Ionășescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Concordia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
