Augustin Susara scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leontin Jder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matías de Andrade's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Daniel Basarab skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Damian Măndica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Aron Sabău rounded Birsesti CS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matías de Andrade in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Basarab saved Birsesti CS from getting behind. After 23rd play minutes Matías de Andrade shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Daniel Basarab and just under the crossbar into goal. Augustin Susara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Leontin Jder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolae Gagiu charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolae Gagiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes Orzu SC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Gagiu. Birsesti CS's Daniel Basarab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Măndica in the 35th minute of play. Dorin Gheban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Jder having to interfere. If Cornel Bejgăneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Matías de Andrade made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Damian Măndica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orzu SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birsesti CS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Orzu SC's Damian Măndica got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matías de Andrade in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Basarab saved Birsesti CS from getting behind. Matías de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Daniel Basarab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orzu SC. Daniel Basarab didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías de Andrade went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Dorin Gheban's late challenge caught a Orzu SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorin Gheban helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Dorin Gheban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Orzu SC's Matías de Andrade in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Birsesti CS's goalie prevented a goal. Birsesti CS were furious when Vasile Angelescu was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Vasile Angelescu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Matías de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birsesti CS's Daniel Basarab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cornel Bejgăneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orzu SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Bejgăneanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Basarab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 played minutes Orzu SC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Măndica. Matías de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Măndica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Augustin Susara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihăiţă Popoacă during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Birsesti CS getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Mihăiţă Popoacă hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Matías de Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Basarab. Birsesti CS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías de Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
