Iacob Bucuță came out of the goal and Marcel Cumpan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Marcel Cumpan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc BrAsOv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Cumpan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Cioroianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Scutaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Marcel Cumpan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Iacob Bucuță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Cumpan in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iacob Bucuță, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emil Ciociu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Petrică Becheanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Cioroianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Greavu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Dumitru Blăjan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Cioroianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Niță hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Petrică Becheanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Petrică Becheanu made the kick off in the second half. When Dumitru Blăjan fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Streneac's protests and gave Dumitru Blăjan a yellow card for diving instead. After 50 played minutes Streneac got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Blăjan. Iacob Bucuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Becheanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Petrică Becheanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iacob Bucuță. Streneac's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petrică Becheanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 76thth minute of the game Petrică Becheanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Streneac's Iacob Bucuță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Cioroianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Blăjan in the 78th minute. Răzvan Pascariu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Streneac's Ivan Dorian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Cioroianu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Streneac's Dumitru Blăjan got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Marcel Cumpan made a precise shot to the right of Iacob Bucuță. Streneac's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Marcel Cumpan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fc BrAsOv walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
