Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arrigo Ferretti started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Otesani's David Pârcălab got a free kick in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Arrigo Ferretti notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Otesani's Dorel Stănculescu. Dorel Stănculescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorel Stănculescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arrigo Ferretti went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Arrigo Ferretti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorel Stănculescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Arrigo Ferretti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FICATII FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arrigo Ferretti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arrigo Ferretti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dorel Stănculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arrigo Ferretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otesani's Tudor Zâncă pulled a muscle in his back after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arrigo Ferretti's late challenge caught a Otesani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arrigo Ferretti helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes FICATII FC got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Ferretti. Horaţiu Creangă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Arrigo Ferretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Stănculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Horaţiu Creangă made the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the game, FICATII FC's Arrigo Ferretti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorel Stănculescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Arrigo Ferretti struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Dorel Stănculescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FICATII FC. After having played for 71 minutes, Arrigo Ferretti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FICATII FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arrigo Ferretti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Arrigo Ferretti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arrigo Ferretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Otesani defense, Arrigo Ferretti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorel Stănculescu. The Otesani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorel Stănculescu should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Melinte got free with Dorel Stănculescu in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FICATII FC booed when Otesani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Casian didn't get a good kick on the ball. FICATII FC played a much better game than Otesani and deserved their victory. The Otesani players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
