Petrică Gurzău made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Júnior Peres sent off a good shot on target. Petre Raicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Curuțiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Unchiaşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Curuțiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Capătă in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Stelian Unchiaşu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parau's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelian Unchiaşu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Curuțiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute Tudor Capătă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Curuțiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Sorin Nedelcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Petre Raicu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Ulta Viola's protests and gave Petre Raicu a yellow card for diving instead. Petre Raicu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Fc Ulta Viola's Júnior Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petrică Gurzău made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Petre Raicu shot from long distance in the 46th minute, but Petrică Gurzău was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 55thth minute of the game Júnior Peres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parau's Petrică Gurzău was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Júnior Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petrică Gurzău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Petre Raicu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Parau's Petrică Gurzău. Petrică Gurzău was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Petre Raicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júnior Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Petrică Gurzău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute of the match Ulryk Dabrowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petrică Gurzău skillfully saved the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Parau's goalkeeper Petrică Gurzău, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Sorin Nedelcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Parau's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Peres came free, but Petrică Gurzău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fc Ulta Viola fans cheered their team off the field, for while Parau had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
