Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ghizela's Sorin Ciorăscu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Ghizela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Bădilescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Toader Iorgulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Gârneț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Toader Iorgulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Silviu Gârneț was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niculae Bobocea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Iulian Apetroaiei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Ghizela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valeriu Bogatu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 21st minute Valeriu Bogatu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Apetroaiei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Bobocea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silviu Gârneț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Ciorăscu in the 24th minute of play. Valeriu Bogatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Iulian Apetroaiei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolae Flamaropol hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Valeriu Bogatu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ghizela's Iulian Apetroaiei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Valeriu Bogatu lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Iulian Apetroaiei. Gabriel Gavra kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Valeriu Bogatu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Apetroaiei having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valeriu Bogatu made a kick off. With his leg Silviu Gârneț managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Ghizela's Marcu Crăiniceanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Iulian Apetroaiei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Bogatu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 60 minutes into the match, Valeriu Bogatu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ghizela's Iulian Apetroaiei. Iulian Apetroaiei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niculae Bobocea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Apetroaiei having to interfere. Sorin Ciorăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Silviu Gârneț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Niculae Bobocea, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Iulian Apetroaiei was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Niculae Bobocea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Apetroaiei having to interfere. Ghizela's Iulian Apetroaiei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Bogatu in the 74th minute of play. Toader Iorgulescu in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silviu Gârneț, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sorin Ciorăscu charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sorin Ciorăscu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Sorin Ciorăscu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panait Rainea struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Iulian Apetroaiei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viilor AC. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Valeriu Bogatu put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Iulian Apetroaiei. After a defensive mix-up in Ghizela's zone, Valeriu Bogatu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Apetroaiei came out of the goal and Valeriu Bogatu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrei Neaga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iulian Apetroaiei. Ghizela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Viilor AC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
