Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dan Guguianu started the match with the kick off. Albert Lupeanu came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Varastii AS's Mihail Lupeanu. But to his dismay, Mihail Lupeanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mihail Lupeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Lupeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Guguianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigore Şoiman charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigore Şoiman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Dobrita UFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Varastii AS:s goal. The goalkeeper, Albert Lupeanu, was totally fooled by Varastii AS's Isac Glodeanu, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Augustin Savin's late challenge caught a Dobrita UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustin Savin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dobrita UFC booed when Varastii AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Savin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Mugur Nicodim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Varastii AS's zone, Lucrețiu Hoduț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Panaite came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Hoduț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Mugur Nicodim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dobrita UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Nicodim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Panaite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

52 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Hoduț notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Varastii AS's Dan Panaite. Dan Panaite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Dobrita UFC's Laurențiu Grigoriu got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lucrețiu Hoduț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mihail Lupeanu came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Varastii AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihail Lupeanu couldn't finish the play. If Lucrețiu Hoduț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Mihail Lupeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varastii AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Lupeanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucrețiu Hoduț struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Dan Panaite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dobrita UFC. Albert Lupeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Lupeanu in the 81st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucrețiu Hoduț got free with Dan Panaite in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Dobrita UFC's zone, Mihail Lupeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Lupeanu came out of the goal and Mihail Lupeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
