Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Real Madrid C.F.'s Niki De Custer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Codrin Izvoranu during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Codrin Izvoranu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 played minutes Vajla got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Arsenescu. The audience was convinced that Niki De Custer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panait Tăcutu was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Panait Tăcutu came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid C.F.'s Niki De Custer. But to his dismay, Niki De Custer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Panait Tăcutu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki De Custer in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Chucho Courel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Chucho Courel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Madrid C.F.'s Chucho Courel got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Niki De Custer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Tăcutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rareș Fința made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Cînu in the 25th minute. Niki De Custer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Tăcutu having to interfere. Niki De Custer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 minutes, Rareș Rizescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Madrid C.F. and the Vajla players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Vajla's Ştefan Ciprian tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Flavius Mârza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rareș Fința tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid C.F.'s Chucho Courel got a free kick in the 36th minute. Rareș Fința showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Arsenescu in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Niki De Custer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vajla's Panait Tăcutu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicu Arsenescu made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Arsenescu in the 52nd minute of play forced Real Madrid C.F.'s goalkeeper Rareș Fința to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niki De Custer might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Panait Tăcutu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niki De Custer ran back to his position shaking his head. Niki De Custer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Panait Tăcutu having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Nicu Arsenescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rareș Fința was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Vajla's Codrin Izvoranu got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Arsenescu in the 66th minute of play forced Real Madrid C.F.'s goalkeeper Rareș Fința to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Vajla's Flavius Mârza made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rareș Fința was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Vajla's Panait Tăcutu got control of the ball when Niki De Custer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 minutes, Niki De Custer made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vajla's Panait Tăcutu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Panait Tăcutu made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Olimpiu Diaconescu sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Niki De Custer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Niki De Custer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panait Tăcutu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 88 minutes, Niki De Custer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With his leg Panait Tăcutu managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Real Madrid C.F.'s Niki De Custer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Real Madrid C.F. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
