Ionuț Comișel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Juventus Ocna Sugatag's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Mergea came free, but Manole Gherase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Petran in the 26th minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Alex Dinu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manole Gherase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Homescu in the 29th minute of play. FCSB's Alex Dinu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Zdrelea in the 31st minute of play. Alex Dinu came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus Ocna Sugatag's Cosmin Valerian. But to his dismay, Cosmin Valerian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With his leg Alex Dinu managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Juventus Ocna Sugatag's Cosmin Valerian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ionel Mergea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Manole Gherase tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muhsin Peykan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosmin Valerian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alex Dinu made a huge save. In the 47th minute Eliodor Zdrelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Dinu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Muhsin Peykan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes FCSB got a freekick which was hit by Dan Cojan. After a rather tough play, FCSB's Dan Cojan got a free kick in the 61st minute. Cosmin Valerian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Dinu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Petran in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Dinu saved FCSB from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, FCSB's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Petran came free, but Alex Dinu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muhsin Peykan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manole Gherase having to make a save. Muhsin Peykan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manole Gherase read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Juventus Ocna Sugatag's goalkeeper Manole Gherase had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Homescu. If Muhsin Peykan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Juventus Ocna Sugatag's Lucrețiu Itoafă got a free kick in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Juventus Ocna Sugatag's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Mergea came free, but Manole Gherase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manole Gherase stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muhsin Peykan's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Mergea in the 94th minute of play forced Juventus Ocna Sugatag's goalkeeper Manole Gherase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 95 in the game by Muhsin Peykan from a close distance when the talented Manole Gherase managed to make a qualified save. Juventus Ocna Sugatag's players were relieved.
