Viorel Macrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Matei Şuţu made a huge save. Matei Şuţu was a little too slow when Viorel Macrea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Constantin Mihuț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Steaua Mizil getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Edgar Nicopol hit a great ball. Floresti UFC's Nistor Bucurescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Steaua Mizil. Codrin Blajovici struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Matei Şuţu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresti UFC. The Steaua Mizil fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Steaua Mizil's Leontin Păun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Romeo Geantă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leontin Păun's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Matei Şuţu made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Viorel Macrea sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the game, Iosif Ştefoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steaua Mizil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floresti UFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Steaua Mizil's Iosif Ştefoi got a free kick in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Rareș Stănilă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Geantă was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 42 minutes, Albert Omescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Floresti UFC and the Steaua Mizil players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Constantin Mihuț made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Edgar Nicopol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Floresti UFC's goalkeeper Romeo Geantă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rareș Stănilă. Albert Omescu was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Albert Omescu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Edgar Musceleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Codrin Blajovici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matei Şuţu. Steaua Mizil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Codrin Blajovici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Leontin Păun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rareș Stănilă got free with Romeo Geantă in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Steaua Mizil's Rareș Stănilă in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Romeo Geantă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Stănilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With an all-out effort, Steaua Mizil's Romeo Geantă threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leontin Păun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Constantin Mihuț charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantin Mihuț the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Florin Chelaru put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Steaua Mizil's Leontin Păun got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Romeo Geantă. The Floresti UFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Steaua Mizil's performance. The match ended with a win for Steaua Mizil.
