Leonard Vulcănescu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The long shot by Dan Barbăroșie in the 17th minute really tested Marin Agulescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Liviu Teodoroiu took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marin Agulescu. Marin Agulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of deCode F.C. booed when Vizireni UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Nenițescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. deCode F.C.'s Dan Barbăroșie got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dan Barbăroșie came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the deCode F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Barbăroșie couldn't finish the play. With his leg Marin Agulescu managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when deCode F.C.'s Liviu Teodoroiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Liviu Teodoroiu could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Marin Agulescu however easily saved by the left post. If Dan Barbăroșie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liviu Teodoroiu got free with Marin Agulescu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Eusebiu Acatincăi made a precise shot to the right of Marin Agulescu. Vizireni UFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Dan Barbăroșie struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Marin Agulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for deCode F.C.. In the 41st minute, Marcel Dobrotă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liviu Teodoroiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Agulescu having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florin Tudoran made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Toader Nenițescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Teodoroiu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marin Agulescu saved Vizireni UFC from getting behind. 57 minutes into the game, Marcel Dobrotă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vizireni UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave deCode F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vizireni UFC's Marcel Dobrotă got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of deCode F.C. booed when Vizireni UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Tudoran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Dan Barbăroșie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Marin Agulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Barbăroșie might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marin Agulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Barbăroșie ran back to his position shaking his head. deCode F.C.'s Luca Lăzan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save deCode F.C. from getting a goal against them. Dan Barbăroșie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marin Agulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Marcel Dobrotă kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Liviu Teodoroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When deCode F.C.'s Liviu Teodoroiu, in the 84th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for deCode F.C.. Marin Agulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Teodoroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
