Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Transu FCM's Teodor Valerian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marin Agulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Valerian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vizireni UFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Pompiliu Ilarie hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Transu FCM's Felix Craia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marin Agulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Transu FCM's Ionuț Jitaru broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Transu FCM booed when Vizireni UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Blaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 minutes, Teodor Valerian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Transu FCM and the Vizireni UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Transu FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Valerian to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Valerian in the 44th minute of play forced Vizireni UFC's goalkeeper Marin Agulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Craia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Marin Agulescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Craia in the 61st minute of play forced Vizireni UFC's goalkeeper Marin Agulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 63rd minute when Ciprian Tache elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florin Tudoran in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Ciomag prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marin Agulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Valerian in the 68th minute of play. Felix Craia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marin Agulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The Vizireni UFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marin Agulescu should have stopped the shot. Felix Craia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Transu FCM had won after a very even match.
