Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dragoş Alupoaie kicked off to start the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Emil Moțoc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciornei CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Moțoc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandru Enescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Moțoc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Găină fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Enescu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Bogătan in the 14th minute of play forced Ciornei CF's goalkeeper Ovidiu Ştiopul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Găină's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandru Enescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Horia Aluchei kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Sporting Radauti got a freekick which was hit by Horia Aluchei. Daniel Găină sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emil Moțoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Moțoc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandru Enescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Ciornei CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marin Covaliu in the 35th minute. It was a well-played corner which Iosif Orășan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Emil Moțoc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Găină's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Alexandru Enescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Moțoc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Iurie Chirea fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Radauti's protests and gave Iurie Chirea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ciornei CF booed when Sporting Radauti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Aluchei didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Emil Moțoc came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ciornei CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Moțoc couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Sporting Radauti's Costel Bogătan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Ştiopul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandru Enescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Găină, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Emil Moțoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragoş Alupoaie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ovidiu Ştiopul came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Radauti's Costel Bogătan. But to his dismay, Costel Bogătan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 87thth minute of the game Daniel Găină who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Radauti's Alexandru Enescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Radauti's Nicu Costa got a free kick in the 88th minute. Alexandru Enescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Moțoc's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Alexandru Enescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Moțoc in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ciornei CF lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
