The supporters of Ludas SC booed when Fulgerul Bragadiru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Surdu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Florin Şerbănescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iordache Bratiloveanu. Ludas SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florin Şerbănescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fulgerul Bragadiru's Eusebiu Cosor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Măcriș in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stelian Măcriș in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusebiu Cosor saved Fulgerul Bragadiru from getting behind. Stelian Măcriș took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebiu Cosor. Eusebiu Cosor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Eusebiu Cosor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Honciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Laurențiu Turcan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fulgerul Bragadiru fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ludas SC a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sergiu Reznic, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fulgerul Bragadiru's Eusebiu Cosor. 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Rădoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eusebiu Cosor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Honciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ludas SC's Eduard Honciu in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eduard Honciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Cosor having to interfere. Stelian Măcriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eusebiu Cosor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adam Rădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Stelian Măcriș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ludas SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelian Măcriș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduard Honciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 102nd match minute, Fulgerul Bragadiru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Rădoi to maneuver through the defense. Fulgerul Bragadiru succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ludas SC had controlled the match.
