If Cristinel Nebunu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinand Ilica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ciprian Elian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristinel Nebunu got free with Ciprian Elian in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Craiova fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Ilica came free, but Ciprian Elian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristinel Nebunu struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ciprian Elian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oravicsa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Savu during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Emanuel Zdrenţu might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tudor Flintașu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Zdrenţu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd match minute, Oravicsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavril Costescu to maneuver through the defense. Cătălin Ostoici took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tudor Flintașu. Oravicsa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ferdinand Ilica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 88 minutes of play, Oravicsa's Cristinel Nebunu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciprian Elian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valeriu Ştefănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Flintașu having to interfere.
