Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Váldson Koehler started the match with the kick off. Vintilă Papadima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roch Marut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ian Van Bettenrode tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matei Crețu made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Parosul CS's Valer Tilincă. 10 minutes into the match, Rahova's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Bologan came free, but Marcel Boc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Parosul CS got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Bologan. Stelian Stroiescu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ian Van Bettenrode made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Donecea in the 20th minute of play. Váldson Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Marcel Boc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Bologan in the 26th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Rahova's Gabriel Donecea made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Van Bettenrode was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute of the match Matei Crețu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Van Bettenrode showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Bologan in the 34th minute of play forced Rahova's goalkeeper Marcel Boc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Donecea in the 36th minute of play forced Parosul CS's goalkeeper Ian Van Bettenrode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vlad Bologan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Boc was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Ian Van Bettenrode stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Donecea's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Donecea in the 47th minute of play forced Parosul CS's goalkeeper Ian Van Bettenrode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Donecea was the one to do the kick off. When Dinu Blidaru fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rahova's protests and gave Dinu Blidaru a yellow card for diving instead. Nicodim Bala kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rahova defense, Váldson Koehler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Boc. The Rahova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Boc should have stopped the shot. Matei Crețu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Rahova's Marcel Boc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Rahova from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute, Vlad Bologan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcel Boc. The goal made the score 1-2. Váldson Koehler took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Boc. Marcel Boc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. With an all-out effort, Parosul CS's Marcel Boc threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vlad Bologan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Rahova defense, Váldson Koehler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Boc. The Rahova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Boc should have stopped the shot. Ian Van Bettenrode showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Marut, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Petre Filip's late challenge caught a Parosul CS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petre Filip helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Rahova's Marcel Boc got control of the ball when Váldson Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute Vlad Bologan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Boc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Parosul CS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Parosul CS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
