Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes of play, Rahova's Gabriel Donecea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Cernea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sabin Belu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Marcel Boc made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Ceausu's zone, Gabriel Donecea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Cernea came out of the goal and Gabriel Donecea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Mihail Cruceru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rahova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Cruceru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Roch Marut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rahova's supporters rose to their feet, but Roch Marut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Cernea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabin Belu scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Boc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 minutes, Gabriel Donecea made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ceausu's Eric Cernea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Donecea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Cernea having to interfere. Eric Cernea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Papadima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Cernea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Papadima in the 41st minute of the match. After 42 played minutes, Rahova's Matei Crețu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eric Cernea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rahova reached it. Eric Cernea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Donecea, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 48 played minutes Ceausu got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Belu. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Eric Cernea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roch Marut went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Valer Bănățeanu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Gabriel Donecea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Donecea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Fabian Pipirig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ceausu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After 68 minutes, Sabin Belu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceausu and the Rahova players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Sabin Belu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Gabriel Donecea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rahova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Gabriel Donecea took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Cernea. Eric Cernea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. After some careless play in the Ceausu defense, Vintilă Papadima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Cernea. The Ceausu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Cernea should have stopped the shot. Vintilă Papadima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rahova's Gabriel Donecea was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Vintilă Papadima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
