Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) POLI2's Grzegorz Mac Donald started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nistor Bărboianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Mac Donald in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Fringhesti's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Valerian came free, but Nistor Bărboianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grzegorz Mac Donald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nistor Bărboianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Grzegorz Mac Donald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Bărboianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Grzegorz Mac Donald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fringhesti's Nistor Bărboianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Grzegorz Mac Donald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Codruț Beșleaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fringhesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Codruț Beșleaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pompiliu Gane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. POLI2's Nicu Valerian got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Fringhesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Ichimescu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Mac Donald in the 27th minute of play forced Fringhesti's goalkeeper Nistor Bărboianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cătălin Ichimescu during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Fringhesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Ichimescu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Fringhesti getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cătălin Ichimescu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fringhesti's zone, Grzegorz Mac Donald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Bărboianu came out of the goal and Grzegorz Mac Donald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, POLI2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Duțulescu to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Grzegorz Mac Donald put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nistor Bărboianu. If Grzegorz Mac Donald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicu Valerian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Grzegorz Mac Donald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nistor Bărboianu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fringhesti's Nistor Bărboianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Valerian in the 48th minute of play. POLI2 were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Fringhesti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denis Banciu took the corner. The corner led POLI2's Denis Banciu to fire away a dangerous shot which Nistor Bărboianu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Codruț Beșleaga made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Fringhesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Beșleaga to maneuver through the defense. Grzegorz Mac Donald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nistor Bărboianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fringhesti's Nistor Bărboianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Fringhesti from getting a goal against them. Manole Duțulescu's late challenge caught a Fringhesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manole Duțulescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes POLI2 got a freekick which was hit by Manole Duțulescu. 62 minutes into the game, Grzegorz Mac Donald recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nistor Bărboianu. Grzegorz Mac Donald showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 67 minutes into the game, Grzegorz Mac Donald lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Nistor Bărboianu. After 72 minutes of play Fringhesti's Cătălin Ichimescu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 73rd match minute, Fringhesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Ichimescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 76thth minute of the game Nicu Valerian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fringhesti's Nistor Bărboianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albert Fărcașu kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Nistor Bărboianu was a little too slow when Nicu Valerian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-6. When POLI2's Nicu Valerian in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fringhesti's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grzegorz Mac Donald got free with Nistor Bărboianu in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Codruț Beșleaga kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Nicu Valerian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
