In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uria AS's goalkeeper Sever Zgârcu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Uria AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Jivulescu to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Butan Gaz's Sebastian Braica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sever Zgârcu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Călin Crăiniceanu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Tiberiu Grigorie sent off a good shot on target. Gigel Tâbârnă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Zgârcu having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Martin Săvescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Butan Gaz's Călin Crăiniceanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiberiu Grigorie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Crăiniceanu having to interfere. The supporters of Uria AS booed when Butan Gaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihnea Zglobiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sebastian Braica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sever Zgârcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Şoiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Butan Gaz:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uria AS:s goal. Anton Ignat shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Uria AS getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sever Aluncai hit a great ball. Mihai Şoiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Sever Arseni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mihai Şoiman came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Butan Gaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihai Şoiman couldn't finish the play. Sever Arseni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Zgârcu having to interfere. Sever Arseni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Săvescu to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Gigel Tâbârnă kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sever Zgârcu. That made the score 0-1 in the 52 minute of play. Sever Arseni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sever Zgârcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Sever Zgârcu was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Mihai Şoiman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mihai Şoiman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Sever Zgârcu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Butan Gaz's Sever Arseni. But to his dismay, Sever Arseni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Sever Arseni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sever Zgârcu having to make a save. Sever Zgârcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sever Arseni in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute, Sandu Robescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Tâbârnă received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sever Zgârcu came out and tried to block the shot, but Gigel Tâbârnă slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 69th minute. Butan Gaz's Călin Crăiniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Jivulescu in the 76th minute of play. If Sever Arseni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihai Şoiman took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sever Zgârcu. Sever Zgârcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 85 minutes into the match, Butan Gaz's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Grigorie came free, but Călin Crăiniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sever Arseni came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Butan Gaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sever Arseni couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sever Arseni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sever Zgârcu. That made the score 0-6 in the 88 minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Uria AS's Aurel Iureș made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Călin Crăiniceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sever Arseni kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Butan Gaz played a much better game than Uria AS and deserved their victory. The Uria AS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
