Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anton Haidău started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Pavel Stamate put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vasile Gherguț. When David Ciuvică came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FCSB2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Ciuvică couldn't finish the play. Vasile Gherguț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Stamate in the 16th minute of play. Pavel Stamate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Gherguț having to interfere. In the 19th minute, David Ciuvică left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCSB2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Aron Babarada kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Pafrusesti's Vasile Gherguț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Pafrusesti from getting a goal against them. Viorel Soare scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasile Gherguț, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vasile Gherguț made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Viorel Soare sent off a good shot on target. FCSB2 were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Pafrusesti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sorin Nae took the corner. The corner ended in Sorin Nae almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pafrusesti's Vasile Gherguț did a great save. With his leg Vasile Gherguț managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when FCSB2's Viorel Soare fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 39th minute, Rareș Pătrășcanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vasile Gherguț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Stamate in the 41st minute of play. Radu Crețu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Viorel Soare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viorel Soare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vasile Gherguț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Soare in the 52nd minute of the match. Viorel Soare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Gherguț having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, FCSB2's Viorel Soare nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vasile Gherguț made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Pavel Stamate came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the FCSB2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Stamate couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Viorel Soare managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCSB2's supporters rose to their feet, but Viorel Soare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasile Gherguț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Manole Elefteriu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, David Ciuvică had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vasile Gherguț. Pafrusesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Ciuvică was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Pavel Stamate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Gherguț having to interfere. Vasile Gherguț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Soare in the 90th minute of the match. If Niculae Lupescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Herea lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 95th minute, one of FCSB2:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FCSB2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FCSB2 had played much better football throughout.
